ABSTRACT
My experience in international education, particularly in connection with the Education Abroad Program, has been similar to that described by many of the contributors to this volume who have been directors, or who have had other kinds of administrative experience in international exchange. It was, I think, the most stimulating two-year period of my professional life, and it certainly was reorienting in terms of my whole approach to higher education. It has been extremely useful.
