ABSTRACT
On a pine worktable lies a yellowed photograph, two wrinkled airplane tickets, several airmail envelopes, letters, and a stamp album. There is also a red Walkman with several cassettes next to it. A black tape recorder is set to record. The child of a mother who will be forty tomorrow begins to speak out loud.
