ABSTRACT
This chapter lists a number of the more useful indexes and abstracts for anthropology. Most of the indexes and abstracts listed here are arranged in a topical arrangement, frequently with author and subject indexes. Entries are arranged alphabetically by author within each section and indexes are provided for authors, archaeological sites and cultures, ethnic and linguistic groups, and geographical area. There are many other indexes to the periodical literature of the social sciences and humanities that are of interest to anthropologists.
