ABSTRACT
Guides to the literature can often lead you to sources that may have been neglected. These reference sources can identify many types of materials, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, bibliographies, indexes, abstracts, and so forth. This chapter identifies some of the more useful guides to the literature of anthropology and other social sciences. Each title identi fied is selective, but should be sufficient for you to locate a variety of reference and other books on many topics and areas.
