ABSTRACT
Health care expenditure in Jordan has increased in recent decades. During the period 1978-1986, the annual average increase was about JD 8 million. As a result, more resources have been devoted to the health care sector, an important development that should be studied and analyzed to help identify the main characteristics of this sector and reach some policy recommendations.
