ABSTRACT

The antivalues are the values of the powerful capitalist and the socialist societies. The values of the revolution of being are those by which a humanistic society is guided in the pursuit of man's liberation, of his complete self-fulfillment as a human being. The historical implementation of the values of the revolution of being entails the suppression of all kinds of violence, direct or structural. Peace presupposes the suppression of both direct and structural violence at the internal level: within national societies it presupposes the maximization of the integrant values through the execution of the project of the revolution of being. The revolution of being implies the establishment of a biological and an educational structure for being. Mankind needs cultural revolutions, taking place in different national societies and international systems or subsystems, to make the teaching-learning model of human communication and understanding operational on a world scale. The chapter presents a Latin American view of a preferred world.
