ABSTRACT

The development of new technology or technological change often appears to be a process beyond human control but it is very much a product of the culture in which it takes place. The territory of a government is more aptly termed a province or a country than a region, but it can be referred to as a territory. A well-developed region is one where residents have control over how their capital and labour are to be invested in production. When a people of a territory find themselves increasingly bypassed in decisions which affect their life and wealth, they are suffering marginalization. World economic space has evolved from a plethora of relatively homogeneous regions of livelihood to an increasingly intensifying nodal system. Even the old homogeneous regions had their central places but these were icing on what was generally locally determined production from the local resources.
