ABSTRACT
Basing his argument on legal precedents in the British courts, Hugh Cotein, professor emeritus of law at the University of Birmingham, came to the conclusion that traditional values and the morality based upon them, far from being irrelevant to the problems of modern life, are essential to cope with them. Indeed, he pointed out that modern technological devices have had little impact upon the major personal decisions people must make.
