ABSTRACT
To Anthony Peranio, professor of civil engineering at the Technion, it is imperative to reject the belief that human aggressive behavior is instinctive. The application of science and technology, along with other human activities, will become ethical only when the major values of our societies are themselves directed to the enhancement of human life.
