ABSTRACT
Alberto M. Wachs, professor of environmental engineering at the Technion, was less sanguine about teaching social responsibility as such to engineering students. Instead, he claimed that the professor could inculcate social responsibility indirectly, and also by serving as a model of ethical behavior.
