ABSTRACT
Gilbert Herbert, Mary Hill Swope Professor of Architecture at the Technion, viewed the question of the ethical responsibility of technologists in terms of his own field. Although architects sometimes deviate from human objectives, the essence of architectural practice in today's world demands that proper consideration be given to environmental concerns and human needs.
