ABSTRACT
“So, you’re a Knight case hire then, right?” My mentor’s question confused me. I had never heard of this Knight case and had no idea why my new job as an instructor at a predominantly White institution (PWI) in the University of Alabama’s system had anything to do with it. After meeting with my mentor, I searched for and found some interesting facts about the Knight case.
