ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to gain knowledge from the hotel managers about organizational agility to identify how organizations can survive in the complex environment of the hospitality industry implementation in Iranian hotel industry. Purposeful stratified and snow ball sampling methods were employed, where in-depth interviews with 13 hoteliers were carried out over a four-month period. Meaning units were abstracted, which were compared and discussed with the informants until a basic agreement of terms could be made. Both practitioners and scholar in the hospitality service firms domain will benefit from the synthesis offered in this paper, as it puts together convergent views on what organizational agility implementation affect the performance of the organisation during this challenging time.
