ABSTRACT
Translation of public health policy documents represents a critical yet largely underexplored research area. This chapter offers a corpus-based study of the translation and communication of specialised public health resources, focusing on the translation of health financial risk concepts in public health materials drafted and circulated by authoritative international health agencies like the World Health Organisation. The corpus findings highlighted the need of developing new health policy translation assessment models to focus on the social impact and the effectiveness of health policy translation as a social communication tool to promote public health knowledge and prevent health risks among general audiences.
