ABSTRACT
Gau Dala Shâliwa Gaje Darmanmi was in origin a So, he was one of the So Omdahs. His town in the So period was Degwa* near Kirik, and his descendants are called N’gau. Their present representatives have for chief Zanua Gamzakema, who is descended from Gau Dala Shâliwa.
