ABSTRACT
My aim, in this article, will be threefold. First of all, I shall try to draw a rapid outline of the deeper religious aspect of Mahatma Gandhi’s character. In the second place, the more directly human side of his personality will be brought into the picture. Thirdly, a brief sketch will be given of what I regard as the two most original contributions which he has made to the progress of mankind in the modern age.
