ABSTRACT

It is not by chance that Gandhiji was included, some years ago, in a series of addresses at the Guildhouse, during Dr. Maude Royden’s ministry, on “Makers of Modem Thought.” When the time comes to assess the great men of to-day and to discuss their contribution to the world’s thought and practice, probably no name will stand out more significantly and constructively than that of India’s foremost leader.
