ABSTRACT

Slightly more than a quarter-century ago, Francis T. “Frank” Cullen reached out to Bonnie Fisher to welcome her to the University of Cincinnati (UC), where she worked as an assistant professor in the Political Science department. Their professional relationship quickly blossomed, with their first large-scale collaboration working on a federal grant to study college students’ criminal victimization. They continued to work together over the next several years (and beyond). Leah Daigle was fortunate enough to begin graduate school at UC, where she worked with Frank and then Bonnie. They together have published multiple works on the sexual victimization experiences of college women. The story of the development and evolution of their research and the lessons learned from working with Frank are told in this chapter.
