ABSTRACT

Preparing teachers to be successful in their first weeks at a new international school is a phenomenon which all international school leaders grapple with. This chapter highlights one East Asian international school's attempt to front-load new teacher induction by hosting a fully online, asynchronous, self-paced online learning course. The course consisted of five modules, each developing the understanding of various technology platforms that are widely used across all divisions. Teacher feedback and perceptions of the online course and learning experience were collected and informed the school's instructional technology team's further development of the course.
