ABSTRACT

The Solution Focused approach is used in different ways by different practitioners, and in this way the model is coloured by the different individuals who give it life in the conversations they have with their clients. Projects using the Solution Focused approach can also change and the model itself can migrate alongside this change. In this chapter, the author describes how a project using a Solution Focused approach in an inner-city primary school seemed to develop into a different project, with the approach becoming absorbed into something different too.

Letting go of rigour can create new pathways for change.
