ABSTRACT
In this introduction to Theories and Methods of Writing Center Studies: A Practice Guide, we discuss the edited collection’s purpose, the five guiding questions that the chapter contributors addressed, and our selection of the theories and methods that this collection includes. We also discuss two methods not covered in a separate chapter: experimental research and practitioner inquiry.
