ABSTRACT

This chapter examines teaching content strategy at the undergraduate level. As a pedagogy development chapter, it is unique in offering a snapshot of teaching content strategy practices and processes through a course-long client service project at a comprehensive, four-year state university. Specifically, the chapter describes 1) the learning objectives and design of the course, 2) how the course-long project was designed to scaffold learning through individual assignments and a final collaborative component for a client, and 3) actionable recommendations for readers to use when developing their own content strategy course with an embedded client project.
