ABSTRACT

The Belt and Road upholds the Silk Road spirit of “peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit” and adheres to the principle of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration, which are highly compatible with the principles of “amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness”. In terms of domestic layout, the Belt and Road has identified 18 key provinces and formed a pattern of comprehensive advancement with coordinated land and marine development from east to west. The Belt and Road is committed to enhancing connectivity of Asia, Europe and Africa and nearby oceans, which has a high degree of internal consistency with China’s pursuit of a new form of international relations. China and the rest of the world belong to an organic whole with a balance of yin and yang. The ultimate goal of a community of a shared future for mankind demonstrates the holistic view and sense of responsibility of China as a world power.
