ABSTRACT
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) affords the world trade a huge development opportunity and broader developmental space. The keys to unimpeded trade under the BRI are removing investment and trade barriers through innovative trade models, fostering a sound business environment for regions and nations, coalescing investment and trade by reducing regional and cross-border trade costs, unleashing cooperation potential and making the pie of cooperation bigger. Minister Zhong Shan stated that to boost unimpeded trade under the BRI; China would import US$2 trillion volume of goods from countries and regions along the Belt and Road and host China Import Expo starting from 2018. Bosnian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Sharovich said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a strong interest in participating in BRI and hopes to strengthen cooperation with China in vigorously implementing the Bosnia and Herzegovina trade promotion plan. The session announced the adoption of the Belt and Road Trade Connectivity Cooperation Initiative.
