ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explores the kinds of tech-led research methods that are becoming more readily available to critical scholars. Hopefully readers will develop the confidence to try some of these things for themselves if they have not already done so. Playing around with different approaches allows us to think about how these techniques might be adapted for projects within our own fields of interest, allowing us to answer new kinds of research questions. Working in the academic sector is a huge privilege in its own right. It gives a degree of freedom to explore new ideas, new techniques and ways of thinking that would be unimaginable to many working outside the academy. The tech sector is frequently and fairly criticised for its lack of diversity, with a culture that values the views and interests of wealthy white men.
