ABSTRACT
This chapter offers a critical introduction and biography of Donald Trump. It briefly highlights his background and career. Second it delves into his public rhetoric and its racist, sexist, and xenophobic dimensions. It notes Trump's propensity for boasting, insulting, and lying. It addresses Russian support for Trump and Trump's love of Vladimir Putin and the Mueller investigation's results. The chapter examines Trump's relations with the media and national intelligence agencies. It examines the first 3½ years of the Trump administration, including its foreign policy and disastrous environmental legacy, and concludes with observations of Trump in 2020, including his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic.
