The authors in this section gathered around a virtual kitchen table, using the online platform Zoom, to engage in conversation around shared ideas and guiding questions about Black girls’ literacies practices. They participated in a conversation where they talked across their respective work as literacy educators and scholars who foreground Black feminist/womanist epistemologies in their personal, social, and professional lives. This kitchen table talk is organized around these sub questions: •

To recreate our kitchen table talk, we video-recorded our Zoom chat and transcribed the video. Each section that follows captures key points that were made to address the guiding questions.
