Makeup artistry is a collaborative field of work where others will quite literally illuminate your designs. In this chapter Christine Sciortino enlists the help of her colleague and collaborator Tony Santiago. As a lighting professor at Columbia College Chicago, he demonstrates how to get the best lighting results for the subject of a shot, and how good or bad lighting choices can affect a makeup artist's work once under the lens.
