Introduction

This chapter introduces my personal interest in William Shakespeare and how the One-Hour Shakespeare projects evolved. It briefly describes the creative editing process behind my personal edits and abridged versions of the plays as well as the development of cast lists designed for small casts either in an educational or professional setting. The introduction also explains how each one-hour play is structured with line numbers and definitions for easy reference during study and rehearsals.
