ABSTRACT
This chapter contains useful and creative in-performance production suggestions with an emphasis on saving money and producing these projects with a limited budget. Subjects covered include choosing and defining a performance space (indoor, outdoor and/or site-specific), the use of lighting, sound, and costumes with specific suggestions for the individual plays in the collection as well as the use of entrances and exits and minimal scenery. In addition, the chapter includes on- and off-stage suggestions for switching from character to character when actors are playing multiple roles.
