ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses natural resource appraisal in Bangladesh. It provides reasons for addressing the urgent need for appraising the existing natural resources (for example, land, wetland, forest and energy) with increasing demand over these resources in Bangladesh, with a sequential discussion ultimately to assess their potential for development in order to meet the unavoidable demands of the country’s people.
