ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses in detail urban research by geographers in Bangladesh. It presents a brief resume of the process and pattern of urbanization in Bangladesh. The chapter then refers to works on various urban issues by individual geographers along with collaborative works led by geographers, social scientists and urban planners. The chapter shows wide variations in the scope, methodology and quality of geographer research on urbanization in Bangladesh.
