ABSTRACT
Chapter 9, “Understanding How to Deliver Your School Counseling Program Using the ASCA National Model,” reviews direct student services in the form of instructing students directly in small groups or individually. Direct services also include working with students to assess their abilities, interests, skills, and achievements, and to help students make sound decisions in regard to these data. Indirect student services include referrals, consultation, and collaboration in which students are impacted through school counseling stakeholders.
