ABSTRACT
As more projects started to get implemented in today’s market, the importance of data collection during the planning phase is very important. This should be done in coordination with project’s stakeholders and end users to make sure that the project will be implemented as it aims to. Diva hospital is a fast-growing organisation which was in a middle of internal development which required improvement in the information technology systems. In this case, we show how important it is to collect information about the project before proceeding with the actual sign off to avoid wasting time and money. The new system was supposed to be used to improve one area while it showcased several weaknesses like poor project communication, weak data requirements definition, and less awareness about the benefits of the project between the end users. Mr Tony explained the main stages of the project with the steps of development for Diva hospital. He mentioned that the project took longer time for something that could have been avoided by simply having better data requirement analysis.
