ABSTRACT
This essay discusses the structural aspects of Black popular culture. Using the Lemonade score—cannon established by the artist Beyoncé, Gerard examines the aesthetics of Black feminism, social identity, and definition of beauty. Retaining the thought of Black feminism is the crux of this article. In this way, we have a foundation to examine the Black Aesthetic from an Afrocentric perspective.
