ABSTRACT
The Howard University questionnaire was the prototype for the 1991 Women’s Life Paths Study for Auckland University and the University of Michigan. Expanding the study and the sample beyond the original sample of mostly White middle-class Americans enhanced the value of the research immeasurably.
