ABSTRACT
Although the following are definite requirements for an organisation seeking to gain certification to ISO 9001:2015, they need not necessarily apply to all and every Management System Standard (MSS). Many other standards only partially replicate or are broadly based on ISO 9001:2015, and others not only duplicate 9001’s requirements but also include some additional obligations (for example, ISO 13485 for medical devices where patient safety is paramount).
