ABSTRACT
In this final chapter we take stock of what we have learned from the six agent-based model exercises reported in Chapters 2–7. We review to what extent the demands formulated in the introductory chapter have indeed contributed to theory testing and development. We identify weaknesses and strengths in the approach, and conclude that agent-based models are indeed fruitful instruments for testing and developing criminological theories.
