ABSTRACT
Urban parking management is gradually being digitized across European cities. Digital parking solutions have operational, tactical and strategic functionalities. This chapter describes a number of solutions and explains what the needs of cities are in this regard. It concludes with recommendations for a local approach to digital parking that can be beneficial to urban mobility systems and urban mobility planning.
