ABSTRACT
The Australian Football League (AFL) is one of the most popular professional football leagues played in Australia. It involves playing a unique game of football that is mostly played in Australia. The aim of this chapter is to provide an overview of the AFL in terms of the 18 clubs included in the league. This includes a summary of the main historical events affecting the development of each club. This provides a way to focus on how football is both entrepreneurial and innovative.
