ABSTRACT
Workers’ compensation litigation is a complex and challenging practice area. Statutes and administrative rules vary widely from state to state. Changes occur frequently, and the legal nurse consultant (LNC) practicing in this specialty must obtain training and new information regularly. Fortunately, basic principles provide the foundation for those working with workers’ compensation litigation. Understanding these principles, the LNC can provide considerable valuable medical expertise.
