ABSTRACT
There are numerous types and sources of medical information relevant to the elements of proof in medical legal tort claims. Identification and review of information contained in and outside of the medical chart can be pertinent to a thorough review of the facts. Skilled legal nurse consultants can play an important role in identifying and analyzing the relevant medical data in each legal claim.
