ABSTRACT

Justice for First Nation People is a struggle that reflects the negative impact of the continuation of colonialism to the present time with governments in handmaiden relationships with powerful multinational mining companies. Kujura Reserve, also known to the locals as the Old Reserve, was a place where the living conditions were of a third world country. The Old Reserve tin sheds of panels, which made up each home from walls to roof, carried the unintentional and unforgiving battering of the sun’s natural born features. It showed no mercy, gave no quarter and had total disregard for everyone. The year 1788 began the time of civilization under colonial respectability, where a man’s measure was crowned by clothes and colour. The land’s new powers gave selective laws and privileges to white Australians while feeding off the injustices to abolish Indigenous sovereignty.
