ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book expands on two further themes alluded to throughout the book, namely story as inquiry and the sustainability mindset. It looks in some detail at the work of Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Chester, two of several universities in the United Kingdom which are developing storytelling communities and bodies of work, others include Nottingham Trent and Southampton. The book then provides details about the offering of Lapidus International before concluding with some information about other developments and further reading. The book offers insights into “sensemaking (and subverting)” as part of transformation processes. It deals with themes of “communicating”, “power and “identity, identification” in various ways throughout the presented stories.
