ABSTRACT
This chapter examines how the OIC, a powerful alliance of Muslim-majority states, employs mainstream and secular human rights language to promote new international restrictions against the right to communicate freely about religion. The chapter shows how human rights language can be misused to justify authoritarian censorship norms.
