ABSTRACT

This chapter will focus on the training of tactical decision-making processes, in developing specifically outside hitters in the sport of volleyball. Outside hitters can attack the ball from the left-side or right-side of the court. The basic fundamentals of attacking the volleyball with the maximum number of options available depends on the individual development and skill level of the volleyball attacker and how often they have used different skills under the duress of competition. The decision-making processes of the outside hitter in volleyball starts with developing the basic fundamentals of the hitting range.
