ABSTRACT
I was surprised to find a contribution from Dennis Avery (Chapter 2) in this book. His views represent the antithesis of what the other contributors stand for. His chapter presents plausible-sounding misinformation that is typical of the dominant views on economics and human society and illustrates the distortion and displacement of human values that we need to challenge. I believe that truth does evolve from a direct concentration and confrontation of ideas.
