ABSTRACT
The Ethiopian legal system is characterised by plural normative orderings where various levels of formal (state) laws interact, compete and cooperate with non-state (customary) laws of more than 80 ethno-linguistic communities. This chapter discusses the efforts being made by Clinical Legal Education programmes of law schools in Ethiopia to realise access to justice by tapping into the normative pluralism.
