ABSTRACT
Legal, ethical and professional issues are integral principles of all healthcare professionals’ roles, and awareness and understanding of these are essential. This chapter explores these principles that are pivotal to our role but also discusses how as a non-medical prescriber we need to ensure we not only know and understand them but can also apply them to our practice.
