ABSTRACT
[The eighth regular meeting of the Indochinese Foreign Ministers took place in Vientiane at the end of January, 1984. Part 4 of their final communique renewed the call for a regional conference in the “five plus two” configuration. The statement can be viewed as the official response to the ASEAN “appeal”.
